Hospital Elevator

About[]

The elevator (or lift) is a type of vertical transport equipment that efficiently moves patients between floors (levels, decks) of a building, vessel or other structures. Elevators are generally powered by electric motors that either drive traction cables or counterweight systems like a hoist, or pump hydraulic fluid to raise a cylindrical piston like a jack.

Code[]

A required permit issued by the department for the operation of an elevator indicating that the required minimum annual safety inspection has been made and the elevator has been found to be in compliance with the minimum safety standards provided for that state in accordance with The American Society of Mechanical Engineers American National Standard.[1][2]
